Hello! I’m Daeus Jorento, a data scientist with 13 years of experience focused on product strategy and experimentation. I currently work at Ramp and live in Oakland, CA. I enjoy uncovering knowledge gaps and creating structure from ambiguity. This blog is a personal library I built for fun, including some study guides that help me consolidate and refine my own learning. I decided to make it public. Across work, macroeconomics, product data science, gaming, and therapy, I’m mostly interested in strategy: how people make decisions, navigate systems, and improve their odds.
I treat the Data Systems and Statistics Refresher posts as living documents. If you know me or we’re connected on LinkedIn and spot something wrong or missing, send me a message. If I update a post based on something new I learn from you, I’ll credit you as a contributor.
